River of Life Homes for Women and Children
River of Life Homes, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that collaborates with other organizations to provide shelter and support services to women leaving abusive situations. River of Life Homes, operates in accordance with the U.S Department of Agriculture and Texas Health and Human Services Commission policy, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, age, disability, religion, political belief, or national origin.

River of Life Homes, Inc. was founded in 2004 with the mission to eliminate family violence through proactive intervention including, education, counseling, and caring for basic needs of victims of domestic violence and their children. We have answered thousands of hotline phone calls, and provided home-style emergency shelter and transitional housing for hundreds of women and their children.

There were other shelters already in existence when River of Life Homes was founded, but not enough due to the continuous rise of domestic violence. Our founder’s personal experience in domestic violence is also one of the factors that contributed to the founding of River of Life Homes.

Richardson Chamber of Commerce
The Richardson Chamber of Commerce (RCC) is North Texas’ premier chamber of commerce and serves as the voice of the local Richardson business community, focused on driving business success. Accredited as a 5-star chamber by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the RCC is in the top 1 percent of chambers in the nation, recognizing high quality, expertise and strong leadership. The Chamber serves 700 active members and is closely aligned with its local sister organization, the Tech Titans.
